Responsibilities
Assist with setup, operation, and maintenance of mechanical, laboratory, or test equipment
Support laboratory testing, data collection, and documentation according to established procedures
Perform basic mechanical assembly, disassembly, and component inspection
Calibrate and verify equipment under supervision and document results
Follow safety, quality, and compliance standards within lab or manufacturing environments
Record test results, observations, and measurements accurately
Assist engineers and senior technicians with experiments, prototypes, and troubleshooting
Maintain clean, organized workspaces, tools, and lab areas
Track materials, consumables, and equipment inventory
Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field
Hands-on experience gained through academic labs, internships, or professional lab environments
