Responsibilities
Answer phones and route calls
Quality control: preparation and distribution of customer certificates of calibration and service orders
Interpret GPS timesheet reports for technician time, enter and correct timesheet data and prepare and distribute Excel spreadsheets for payroll and pre-payroll
Place scales into service with counties as needed
Monitor and communicate to technicians and managers about outstanding paperwork to reduce backlog
Maintain company calendars
Record, track and coordinate test weight recertification and safety training
Arrange travel accommodations
Order office supplies
Prepare shipping labels and ship packages
Maintain fuel log
Run errands or deliver parts to technicians on occasion
Qualification
Required
High-School Diploma or GED
1 year of related work experience or education
Professional phone etiquette
Able to communicate effectively with others while simultaneously building credibility and rapport
Highly organized and prioritizes tasks
Conforms to established policies and procedures
Self-motivated, able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency
Excellent proofreading and writing skills with good attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills
Class C driver's license with good driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, a background check and DMV driving record check
