Senior Director of Business Development
Tekton Research is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to join their team. The role involves identifying new accounts and contacts, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the success of business development strategies in alignment with the company's therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities
Works with CCO to establish account ownership and prioritize activities that will enable achieving goals
Identifies new accounts and contacts aligned with business development strategy
Maintains a consistent focus on pharma, biotech and CROs who need sites services aligned to Tekton Research’s therapeutic areas
Identifies areas of expansion into new therapeutic areas within current/active accounts
Remains current on competitive landscape and shares information amongst the Business Development, account development and marketing teams, as well as with leadership
Attends Business Development and other company meetings as delegated
Leads opportunity/pipeline discussion about respective opportunities, with focus on what is needed to advance opportunities
Identify new prospects and opportunities via business development intelligence technologies, websites, conferences, and networking
Performs daily analysis of targeted therapeutic areas and accounts
Shares news / updates / leads for Strategic and Managed Accounts with team and leadership
Sets up Custom Feeds/Reports per targeted account strategy & initiates outreach
Attends industry conferences to expand/build relationships and pursue new
Leads setting up client meetings at conferences for owned and prospective accounts
Supports client meetings for other team members who are not attending the conference or have a scheduling conflict
Completes conference summary report in Conference Summary format
Represents other business needs: vendor networking and competitor intelligence
Leads/Maintains data entry of all New and Targeted Account Data
Sets the engagement frequency based on client intel and preferences
Leads the process of logging all client communications and activity for targeted accounts/prospect opportunities in Salesforce
Adds New Opportunities at Prospecting stage, specifically those that lead to study submissions
Maintains high level of engagement activities documentation, calls, emails, meetings and follow up actions

Combined 5+ years of business development and clinical research industry experience
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Prolonged periods of standing during networking opportunities/conferences
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
Must be able to travel up to 50%
