Responsibilities
Underwrite new and renewal P&C Middle Market business by evaluating applications and making risk decisions in line with company guidelines
Collaborate with agents and brokers, and maintain a productive loss ratio
Support product development and pricing, and engage in territory-based customer development and relationship building
Participate in continuing education and assist in training
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in insurance or a related field, or equivalent experience
7+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience or similar (this position does have the potential to come in at the Executive level)
Knowledge of ISO Based Forms
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to interpret business and regulatory information and maintain professional interactions
