Technical Distribution Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships within Distributors at all levels and across multiple functional areas
Create, track, and follow up with LF and Distributor personnel on demand creation focus account distributor programs
Support and grow the LF distribution sales channel within the region
Primary interface for Branch Managers, Product Managers, and sales personnel/reps for key distributors in order to gain maximum mind share
Establish and execute on mutual growth objectives with distributors driven by effective training programs such as NPI (new product introduction), design reviews, and quarterly business reviews
Link sales and branch FAEs to maximize multi-technology demand creation and sales, support and maintain LF’s Distributor Registration program
Understand distributors requirements and recommend suitable electronic components (circuit protection, switches, power semiconductors, sensors, relay, and circuit breakers)
Collaborate with distribution Field Application engineering teams to ensure customer needs are met
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings
Communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications effectively
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions
Prepare reports for management on sales performance and market conditions
Quotation support and follow up
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in electronic components
Five to seven years of experience
Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and applications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to travel 50% to distribution branches within your region
Preferred
Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements
Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach
Presentation and Public Speaking to groups in branch setting
The ability to maintain effective working relationships with Sales teams, local Sales Reps, Channel Partners, Product Managers, Technical Marketing, Marcom and Corporate functions
