Responsibilities
Design for Impact: Contribute to user-centered design solutions that help more families discover value in Life360, focusing on simplicity, clarity, and measurable results
Support Fast-Paced Experimentation: Rapidly explore, prototype, and refine multiple design directions to support A/B tests and growth initiatives across the funnel
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing partners to bring experiments to life and align on goals and outcomes
Contribute to Experimentation: Translate hypotheses into testable design variations, using feedback and data to iterate and improve performance
Champion User Empathy: Help uncover user needs through usability testing, surveys, or feedback reviews, making sure design decisions reflect real user behavior and motivations
Iterate and Learn Quickly: Embrace a test-and-learn mindset, adapting your work based on feedback, insights, and evolving priorities
Create with Clarity: Produce clean, high-quality mockups, prototypes, and interaction flows in Figma that communicate design intent clearly
Grow Your Craft: Participate in critiques, learn from senior designers, and contribute to a culture of creativity, collaboration, and experimentation
Qualification
Required
5-8 Years of Product Design Experience: Experience designing consumer-facing digital products, preferably mobile-first
Strong Visual and Interaction Skills: A portfolio that shows an eye for detail, layout, and usability across iOS or Android
Comfort with Experimentation: Excited to design in a fast-moving environment where ideas are tested, measured, and iterated quickly
Curious and Data-Aware: Open to learning how design decisions connect to metrics and user behavior
Versatile Designer: Comfortable moving between wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate ideas effectively
Collaborative Communicator: Works well in cross-functional settings, open to feedback, and eager to learn from teammates
Bias Toward Action: Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently with light guidance
