ANALYST - FORECAST ANALYST

Niterra North America, Inc. is a leading company in technology and innovation in spark plugs and oxygen sensors. They are seeking a data-driven Financial Analyst to translate complex financial data into actionable insights to support growth and improve demand forecasting accuracy.

Responsibilities

Blue Yonder/Demand 360 technical power user and database resource for specified product lines
Interface with system, data, stakeholders and customers to facilitate monthly sku/customer level demand forecast, seeking continuous improvement in accuracy
Meet all assigned KPIs to including but not limited to forecast accuracy at customer and product level
Monitor weekly customer sales volume for oversells and report out as necessary
Responsible for the continued evolution of application functionality to facilitate global/local utilization and ROI
Responsible for working with CBO Sales Organization in providing GIMS level forecast to SCM/IP and GHQ when necessary
This would include 100% of AM SP/O2 volume, as well as 10% of OE volume not related to releases
Lead sales team in monthly demand S&OP meeting, provide output to supply chain organization, and report historical performance and future projection in executive meeting
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and will adhere to all company policies relating to J-SOX, IATF-16949 and ISO14000

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role using current, best in class planning systems. e.g. Arkieva, Logility. Blue Yonder
Demonstrated ability in the following areas:
Conduct complex demand simulations leveraging application modeling tools, statistical analysis and sales/market intelligence to meet and exceed forecast accuracy KPIs
Manage, update, maintain large databases and reporting tools
Interface with demand stakeholders at all levels to strategically identify and validate regional / affiliate industry trends and sales drivers
Facilitate data exchange and consensus building in a S&OP environment
Strong written and oral communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment

Preferred

Blue Yonder D360 preferred
APICS, IBF or Similar Certification Preferred
Experience in an automotive industry a plus
