They are seeking a remote Senior Staff Accountant who will work closely with bookkeepers and business owners to review financial reports, mentor team members, and provide financial clarity to clients.

Responsibilities
Review monthly financials prepared by bookkeepers (QBO)
Perform high level accounting tasks
Perform high-level accounting analysis, variance checks, and trend spotting
Guide team members with corrections, context, and coaching
Participate in client calls to walk through reports and answer questions
Own deadlines, documentation, and report delivery workflows
Ensure everything follows our naming conventions, review standards, and security protocols
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (preferably remote)
Proficiency in QBO and confident working across multiple clients
Strong communicator with an eye for details and a heart for people
A joyful, dependable, humble professional who takes pride in their work
U.S.-based (we work with clients across the country)
Preferred
Have experience mentoring others or enjoy teaching
Are comfortable on video calls, in client calls, and using video to explain things
Value personal growth as much as professional growth
