Responsibilities
Support ongoing and planned regulatory submissions related to usability and human factors
Document usability validation activities and contribute to responses for regulatory inquiries
Partner with packaging and engineering teams to update labeling and Instructions for Use (IFU) content
Evaluate labeling and packaging designs for usability, clarity, and readability
Plan, manage, and execute summative usability testing, including coordination with external agencies
Review, update, and maintain usability evaluation procedures
Serve as a senior contributor and thought partner across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Packaging teams
Qualification
Required
Approximately 8–12 years of experience in human factors, usability engineering, or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience leading usability evaluations and validation studies
Experience working in regulated product development environments
Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
Medical device and/or IVD experience strongly preferred
