Responsibilities
Attend monthly meetings with the Project Director and CJCC staff to update the agency regarding the status of the project, including progress and any challenges encountered
Attend Planning Council meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to identify key data points for tracking and monitoring
Collaborate with relevant agencies to collect and analyze selected data and identify trends
Plan, organize and conduct qualitative research to support asset mapping and gap analysis
Complete a literature review to identify best practices in juvenile justice
Use collected and analyzed data to help inform Continuum of Care implementation plan
Qualification
Required
Experience in the social sciences, preferably specializing in criminal or juvenile justice, public health, or behavioral science
Conducting research and evaluations using public health or justice system administrative data
Demonstrate an understanding of statistical concepts and their application in the analysis of public health and criminal justice data
Demonstrate an ability to analyze disparate datasets to derive understanding of the research topic, identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions
Outstanding analytical skills, including an ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred
Programming language proficiency (R or Stata preferred)
Knowledge of database management
