Account Executive
SoTalent is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their West Oncology Field Account Management team. This role focuses on managing and growing relationships with community oncology practices, primarily in Texas, while collaborating with internal teams to enhance customer partnerships and drive account value.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute territory strategies to retain existing customers and expand account value
Identify high-impact decision-makers and influencers, building strong relationships across clinical, operational, and executive levels
Partner with practices to understand business challenges, priorities, and growth objectives
Lead structured account planning, engaging customers in strategic discussions and long-term planning
Clearly articulate value, ROI, and outcomes associated with solutions and services
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned practices
Maintain proactive communication, anticipating customer needs and resolving issues efficiently
Establish regular touchpoints, feedback mechanisms, and performance reviews to ensure satisfaction
Educate customers on industry trends, capabilities, and best practices
Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline while shortening sales cycles and improving win rates
Deliver accurate forecasts and opportunity tracking
Conduct post-sale analyses and share insights to improve future outcomes
Understand customer decision drivers, financial considerations, and market dynamics
Communicate insights related to reimbursement, payer trends, and competitive positioning
Deliver data-driven business reviews, translating performance metrics into actionable recommendations
Monitor healthcare and oncology market trends to identify new opportunities
Maintain strong knowledge of product offerings and value differentiation
Leverage competitive insights to position solutions effectively
Coordinate with internal teams including operations, finance, contracts, legal, customer support, and sales partners
Act as the customer advocate internally, ensuring alignment and issue resolution
Identify and drive cross-selling opportunities across the broader organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Typically 4+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer-facing roles
Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within the territory
Preferred
Proven success in customer retention, account growth, and long-term relationship management
Strong negotiation experience, including contract renewals and extensions
Ability to present financial and performance data to executive audiences
Experience delivering quarterly business reviews and value-based presentations
Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and business applications (MS Office, SAP preferred)
Healthcare experience, ideally within oncology, rheumatology, or pharmaceutical environments
Understanding of buy-and-bill models, reimbursement dynamics, and private practice operations
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams
