Responsibilities
Develop new business accounts to secure major construction contracts
Utilize strategic account planning and sales pipeline management tools
Follow a proven sales process that includes prospecting, qualifying, targeting, identifying customer needs, developing value propositions, presenting solutions and alternatives, and closing the sale for future construction project opportunities
Work collaboratively with the Business Development team to create and implement strategic plans to generate business opportunities which result in achieved revenue objectives for the Louisville region
Participate in industry and community organizations
Continuously growing and developing your skills to lead project teams in selling high-end conceptual services to executive level managers and buyers of large corporations and agencies
Make decisions based on Company' long-term growth philosophy and core values
Qualification
Required
8-10 years of business development / sales experience
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction or related field
Ability to work non-traditional hours
Business and community relationships in the Louisville area
Knowledge/experience in a construction related industry
Formal sales training experience with client management (CRM) software
Proven track record developing business and long-term client relations
Preferred
Commercial Construction (and preferrably with Quick Service Restaurant Constr. exp.) Sales/Biz Dev experience
Knowledge of health care, higher education, life sciences and industrial markets is a plus
