Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases , tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures

Build and manage data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory

Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for loading data from multiple sources

Write complex T-SQL queries for data transformation and reporting

Monitor and troubleshoot ADF pipelines , ensuring data accuracy and reliability

Perform SQL Server performance tuning , including query optimization and indexing

Implement data validation, error handling, and logging mechanisms

Collaborate with data architects and business teams to understand data requirements

Support data migration and integration efforts (on-premises to Azure)

Maintain technical documentation for database objects and data flows

Follow data security and governance best practices

Required

Strong experience as a Database Developer or similar role

Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory

Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning techniques

Experience working with relational data models

Familiarity with Azure SQL Database or SQL Managed Instance

Understanding of data security and access controls
