Responsibilities
This role focuses on updating, maintaining, and executing the day‑to‑day mobility engineering work within VMware Workspace ONE
The Mobility Engineer will apply configuration changes, deploy and adjust policies, manage OS and application patching using platform capabilities, and ensure devices remain secure and compliant
By supporting the broader engineering team through hands‑on execution, clear documentation, and continuous improvement of workflows, this role strengthens our modern endpoint ecosystem and enhances the overall crew experience
Qualification
Required
Strong experience managing mobile devices (iOS/Android) in VMware Workspace ONE UEM
Ability to update and deploy profiles, compliance rules, apps, and policies
Understanding of patching workflows, including Workspace ONE Time Windows for OS/app updates
Familiarity with Workspace ONE Access and integrating device posture with Okta for secure authentication
Proficiency troubleshooting enrollment issues, secure app access, VPN/Tunnel configurations, and policy conflicts
Experience with mobile application management (VPP, Managed Google Play, internal apps)
Knowledge of BYOD vs corporate‑owned deployment models and associated security considerations
Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or UEM API usage)
