Responsibilities
Lead a multi-site team specializing in mechanical and systems engineering for packaged rotating equipment projects (e.g., electric motor-driven compressor trains, gas turbine-compressors)
Develop and implement a competency management program to enhance team skills
Collaborate with engineering disciplines to optimize capacity and meet business needs
Support manufacturing by creating work instructions and addressing non-conformance issues
Manage departmental budgets to ensure financial efficiency
Mentor team members and build a pipeline of future talent
Qualification
Required
Minimum B.S. in an engineering-related field; M.S. is a plus
Previous team lead or management experience required
8+ years of Mechanical Engineering industry experience; advanced degree may substitute for work experience
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (domestic and international)
Experience directing a multi-site team of engineers and designers across multiple countries
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Engineering/PLM software (NX, COMOS, Jira, SAP); rotating equipment experience preferred
