The role involves hands-on work across RTL, netlist, and post-layout power analysis, as well as scripting and flow automation within advanced ASIC design environments.

Responsibilities
Perform PPA (Power, Performance, Area) optimization using Fusion Compiler
Conduct RTL-level and netlist-level power analysis
Perform post-processing and scripting on report and log files for:
Format conversion
Data analysis
Information extraction
Set up, run, debug, and analyze ASIC design flows, including:
Synthesis
Physical Design (PD)
Power analysis
Timing analysis
Implement selected design blocks at RTL level and define power intent using UPF
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate power trade-offs across design and backend implementation stages
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as an ASIC Power Engineer, or equivalent experience as a CAD Engineer or Physical Design Engineer
Strong experience with power estimation and analysis tools
Hands-on exposure to synthesis and some physical design activities
Solid understanding of power-performance-area (PPA) trade-offs in ASIC design
Strong scripting and data analysis skills (Python, Tcl)
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Need strong candidate with good comm skill
