Responsibilities
Serve as a go-to resource for guidance, technical insight, and leadership across the team
Deliver hands-on mentorship and constructive feedback that accelerates career growth
Organize and lead technical training sessions, including Lunch & Learns, to foster continuous learning
Build a culture of curiosity, initiative, and shared knowledge
Execute in-depth QA/QC reviews with an emphasis on constructability, code compliance, and client standards
Identify technical risks and proactively recommend improvements
Collaborate with design teams to ensure review feedback is effectively implemented
Drive design strategy by researching and proposing new methods and industry best practices
Translate innovative ideas into formal standards that guide the firm’s design approach
Lead integration and ensure consistency of these directives across projects
Work closely with internal teams to diagnose and resolve critical project challenges
Provide real-time technical expertise to guide problem-solving under pressure
Document learnings and solutions to build a stronger, more resilient team knowledge base
Lead root cause analysis and ensure solutions prevent future recurrence
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Senior Project Engineer or similar role
Strong technical expertise in engineering principles and practices
Proven ability to mentor and develop technical staff
Experience conducting QA/QC reviews with emphasis on constructability and code compliance
Ability to identify technical risks and recommend improvements
Experience in establishing and implementing design directives
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and tools
