Responsibilities

Manage daily product compliance activities, including certifications, product listings, and regulatory documentation for new and existing products
Lead regulatory and certification projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met
Coordinate testing, audits, corrective actions, and ongoing listings with third-party certification agencies (NSF, IAPMO, CSA, ASSE)
Monitor regulatory and standards changes and communicate impacts to leadership and internal stakeholders
Complete regulatory sales reporting related to single-use plastics, PFAS, and EPR requirements
Provide compliance guidance to Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing teams
Review product labeling, technical literature, and marketing materials for regulatory and certification accuracy
Update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for formulation changes, new markets, and chemical classifications
Support investigations and resolution of compliance issues and corrective actions
Maintain organized compliance records and identify opportunities to improve compliance processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in product compliance or regulatory affairs
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and certification requirements
Experience working with third-party certification bodies and conformity assessment processes
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with documentation, project tracking, and reporting tools

Preferred

Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment
Familiarity with quality management systems and corrective action processes
Experience with PFAS, single-use plastics, and EPR regulatory reporting
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance
1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
