Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and managing the billing and invoicing solutions within the SAP IS-U module for utility companies
Leading the design and implementation of billing and invoicing solutions, often during Greenfield implementations or S/4HANA migrations
Conducting fit-to-standard and design workshops to gather and validate business requirements
Defining and configuring billing master data, including rate structures, pricing, billing schemas, and invoice layouts
Translating business needs into functional specifications and identifying requirements for customizations, enhancements, and new developments (WRICEF)
Ensuring seamless integration of billing processes with other SAP IS-U modules like Device Management, FI-CA (Financial Contract Accounting), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Supporting various testing phases, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Troubleshooting functional issues, performing root-cause analysis, and recommending optimization opportunities
Providing training and support to end-users and creating comprehensive functional documentation
Ensuring that all billing processes and configurations adhere to relevant industry regulations and compliance standards
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 15 years of Industry Solution–Utilities (IS-U)
A minimum of 10 years of IS-U Billing and Invoicing
Leading the design and implementation of billing and invoicing solutions, often during Greenfield implementations or S/4HANA migrations
Conducting fit-to-standard and design workshops to gather and validate business requirements
Defining and configuring billing master data, including rate structures, pricing, billing schemas, and invoice layouts
