Develop and execute reliability and maintainability (R&M) analyses for avionic aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with MIL STD 1629A and MIL STD 217
Define and implement Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality (FMECA) studies, generating actionable mitigation plans for avionics systems
Conduct reliability growth testing, statistical analysis, and life data modeling to predict system performance over its operational lifecycle
Implementing Failure Reporting And Corrective Actions Systems (FRACAS) process and interpreting statistical data derived from failure data to determine root cause and corrective actions to eliminate failure modes
Lead root cause investigations of field failures, coordinating cross functional teams to develop corrective and preventive actions
Establish and maintain maintainability metrics (MTTR, logistic support analysis) to optimize support concepts and reduce downtime
Influencing the complete life cycle; CONOPs, design, development, verification test, and sustainment based on program requirements by resolving R&M technical issues using analysis, data, industry practices, and academic research
Produce reliability/maintainability documentation, including reliability data packages, technical reports, and compliance records for government customers
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure R&M requirements are embedded in contracts and supplier deliverables
