Responsibilities
Lead independent proof-of-value engagements with enterprise prospects, designing custom ontologies and delivering working solutions within 3–5 days
Conduct technical discovery and present solutions to data engineers, enterprise architects, and AI or ML teams
Own the technical evaluation and POV phases while supporting Account Executives throughout the sales cycle
Collaborate directly with Engineering on complex or custom implementations during pilots
Support deals through closing and early onboarding in partnership with Customer Success
Contribute to customer expansion efforts within existing accounts
Work with the Field CTO to develop reusable ontology templates, POV frameworks, and best practices
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, data engineering, solutions architecture, or similar customer-facing technical roles
Strong background in data modeling, data platforms, and ETL or pipeline architectures
Proficiency in Python scripting and workflow automation
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
Deep understanding of cloud and enterprise data platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proven record of success in customer-facing technical roles with clear sales impact
Strong presentation and communication skills across technical and executive audiences
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, or semantic technologies strongly preferred
Experience in B2B SaaS, AI or ML platforms, or data quality solutions preferred
