The investigator will support the internal investigations team, manage their own hours, and work independently to complete deliverables related to compliance and HR investigations.

Responsibilities
Support the internal investigations team in the Ethics & Compliance Department. Investigations may include Compliance and HR related topics
This role will be responsible for following up on reported incidents of non-compliance, conducting and/or coordinating internal investigations, and preparing reports on the incidents and investigation findings
Conduct interviews and gather evidence in connection with investigations
Work closely with Client’s Ethics & Compliance, Legal, and HR Business Partners to initiate and complete background and fact-finding activities for investigations
Also interact with business partners such as Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical Affairs, and Sales leadership in connection with investigations
The investigator may offer suggestions/recommendations for investigation outcomes, which will be fully reviewed/decided upon by the Client
The investigator will have no decision-making authority
The investigator will independently manage their own hours and work to complete deliverables
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of experience conducting internal investigations, including conducting interviews
3+ years of experience in compliance in the pharmaceutical industry
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, industry guidelines, and best practices in compliance programs, including anti-kickback statutes, False Claims Acts, Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), state reporting statutes, and other laws
Preferred
J.D. degree strongly preferred
Medical device experience is preferable as well
