New Grad, Entry LevelYoh, A Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time contract opportunity in Lee's Summit, OK. The role involves providing primary and occupational health care, including patient check-in/out, assisting with medical testing, and maintaining health records.

Responsibilities
Greet patients and check them in/out
Room patients and vitals
Answer phones, schedule appointments, call backs, and process faxes
POC testing (Strep, Flu, COVID, urine dip, urine preg, etc)
Immunizations/injections
Assist with medical testing such as EKGs, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, and respiratory treatments
Maintain employee health records (using EPIC and OHM)
Assist with physicals, sick visits, well-woman exams, lab draws, etc
Qualification
Required
Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Missouri
Must be comfortable with blood draws/labs
Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player
Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee
BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFeron Gold test
Must be confident with front and back office responsibilities as you will be responsible for supporting the Nurses and providers with all aspects of the clinic
Strong organizational skills, good at multi-tasking, and work really well independently
MUST ABLE TO COMMIT TO THE WORK SCHEDULE - 37 hours per week: Monday: 7:00am to 11:00am
