Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of database administrators
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases
Ensure high availability and performance of databases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project requirements
Develop and implement database security policies and procedures

Required

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Extensive experience with IBM AIX, Linux, and SUN Solaris UNIX operating systems
Hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA, specifically with Oracle 18c and 19c
Proficiency in applying PSU patches to various versions of Oracle databases
Experience in upgrades of databases to 19c, with rolling upgrades for Oracle environments being a plus
Proven track record with Golden Gate implementation and troubleshooting
Expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting on multi-node RAC systems on ASM
Experience in upgrade and migration of large databases across data centers
Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions
Strong understanding of Oracle Architecture

Preferred

Experience in handling large teams
ASM instance creation and troubleshooting
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
