Responsibilities

Responsible for Incident Management and conducting proper problem follow-up
Proactively monitor and manage the production environment
Troubleshoot and resolve application problems including but not limited to job failures, feed management, monitoring etc
Improve and or create documentation of support policies and procedures
Understanding in the business processes supported by the system
Support application releases, implementations, upgrades, and/or changes into the environment
Ensuring continuity and quality by owning the resolution of issues across platforms
Tracking progress and escalating as appropriate unless resolution reached
To ensure that applications and related services are documented and kept current
Maintaining a knowledge base of known defects and issues, process, techniques etc
Takes part in production support rotation, and responding and resolving production problems
Weekend or after hours work is required to support critical business initiatives such as application deployments (Pre Post activities), infrastructure changes, Industry-wide tests, or Disaster Recovery tests
Build strong partnership with Development, Infrastructure, and platform teams

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in development or production support
5+ years in following: Oracle Database, SQL Server Database, PostgreSQL, UNIX, Windows, MQ, Mulesoft
Ability to solve production down situations under tight SLA deadlines, including root cause and problem resolution follow-up
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to organize time, work on multiple tasks, and follow tasks and projects through to completion, while keeping all interested parties properly updated
