Responsibilities
Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions
Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety and quality standards
Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution
Maintain a complete daily log of activities on the job site, including photographs
Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by the project team
Walk the whole of the project daily or with more frequency to monitor activities and identify and make safe potential hazards to the public
Schedule and attend weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work
Communicate issues of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling
Ensure that the job site is always kept clean and organized
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in commercial construction with retail experience
Proficiency in jobsite safety and subcontractor management
Ability to read plans and specifications
Experience using Microsoft Office, Autodesk Build, and Bluebeam
High school education or equivalent
Basic computer skills for entering time and communication by email
Preferred
Successfully completed OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour courses
