Strategic Marketing Account Director

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic partner, leveraging data-driven insights to develop marketing strategies that drive client growth and efficiency
Provide ongoing analysis and custom reporting, using KPIs to measure campaign success and identify areas for optimization
Conduct in-depth market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to inform client positioning and targeting strategies
Oversee data strategy and infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of first-party, third-party, and campaign data for cross-channel analysis
Provide holistic cross-channel planning and execution across paid, earned, and owned media, ensuring clients achieve maximum ROI
Develop advanced segmentation and personalization strategies, using data-driven insights to improve engagement and conversions
Guide clients in MarTech stack implementation, CRM integrations, and automation strategies to enhance efficiency and customer experiences
Deliver marketing attribution modeling to provide clients with clear insights on budget allocation, performance impact, and long-term strategy
Act as a trusted advisor to client CMOs and senior leaders, guiding high-level marketing strategy and investment decisions
Conduct regular strategic reviews and performance deep-dives to ensure alignment with business goals and evolving market dynamics
Introduce new strategies, emerging technologies, and market opportunities, ensuring clients stay ahead of industry trends

Required

4 Year / Bachelors Degree-Bachelors degree in related discipline required
10+ years of marketing strategy experience and large client relationship management
Demonstrated record of leading important marketing engagements and consulting initiatives for client organizations -- and building C Suite relationships. Ideally, this experience comes from both client side tenures and senior agency/consultancy experience
Deep expertise with all aspects of Marketing including strategic planning, data analytics, data management, marketing technology, designed testing, media optimization, etc
Experience with cultivating and maintaining client executive relationships
Familiarity with analytic methodologies and Data Science practices and their role in shaping marketing strategy
Familiarity with Market Research techniques and strategies
Very strong written communication skills. Experience with direct client contact and effective presentations
Ability to interpret analytic findings and present them to non-technical audiences for the purpose of driving marketing and customer treatment strategies
Expert level understanding of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data assets and their respective role in driving marketing performance
Strong understanding of marketing database strategies and applications -- coupled with an ability to draw actionable insights from marketing data for client benefit
