Responsibilities
Provide daily guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to slitter line operators
Support safe, efficient slitter production operations while meeting quality and delivery standards
Assist team members with troubleshooting common slitter line issues, including feeder and cut adjustments
Serve as a key point of contact for daily production activities and escalate issues as needed
Support onboarding and ongoing development of assigned personnel
Coordinate with Quality and Training teams to maintain consistent production standards
Ensure adherence to job jacket instructions, standard work, and quality requirements
Monitor production output to reduce waste, rework, and downtime
Promote and enforce safety, housekeeping, and security protocols on the production floor
Support compliance with ISO 9001, QMS procedures, and company policies
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
4+ years of manufacturing experience
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities
Basic math skills and ability to read and follow written work instructions
Preferred
Prior experience as a working lead
Experience in slitting, converting, printing, or similar manufacturing operations
Familiarity with ISO 9001 environments and manufacturing quality systems
