Responsibilities
Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, and trials
Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal memoranda, briefs, and motions
Represent clients in state and federal courts
Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and development
Qualification
Required
3+ years of litigation experience required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active and good-standing member of the Alabama State Bar
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
Preferred
Experience in state and/or federal court litigation preferred
