The role involves providing administrative support, drafting legal documents, and assisting with various legal tasks under the supervision of the General Counsel.

Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the General Counsel and legal team, maintaining departmental workflows

Draft, review and file a variety of legal documents required by federal, state and local law

Assist in preparation and filing of legal documents with the court, and correspondence and authorizations with opposing counsel

Maintain deal term charts and legal department databases

Track and organize case documents to facilitate access and availability by legal team

Track bills from outside counsel and carefully manage their processing and delivery

Utilize contract management software to input information into templates and track contract renewals

Take on miscellaneous projects as they arise

Required

Familiarity with and/or interest in law, legal procedures, protocols, contract drafting and/or the day-to-day operations of an in-house legal department

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload and meet all deadlines in a busy environment while remaining available for assistance

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Google Suite, computer databases and related software

Bachelor's degree required
