Senior LevelLargeton Group is seeking a Mainframe Top Secret Security Administrator to ensure data security and regulatory compliance. The role involves advanced systems administration for agency mainframe applications, overseeing day-to-day operations, and providing technical support in a consolidated data center environment.

Responsibilities
Serve as a subject-matter expert in Mainframe Top Secret Security Administration to ensure data security and regulatory compliance
Provide advanced, senior-level systems administration for agency mainframe applications and supporting infrastructure
Oversee day-to-day mainframe system administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and user account management
Perform routine security administration, performance monitoring, security monitoring, and system maintenance tasks
Ensure expertise in certificate renewals, access control, security compliance, audit practices, and risk mitigation in mainframe environments
Support mainframe operations in the State’s Consolidated Data Center Services (DCS) and coordinate with Network Administration, Customer Support, and Applications Development teams
Apply expert-level knowledge of z/OS operating systems, including planning, implementation, testing of releases, upgrades, and changes
Provide technical and end-user support for Independent Software Vendor (ISV) products, such as BlueZone
Diagnose platform and software issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide production control support
Assist with mainframe job scheduling and support jobs
Preferred experience with Informatica Power Exchange Administration for Change Data Capture processing using mainframe data sources and targets (IMS, VSAM)
Required hands-on experience in TSS (Top Secret Security), z/OS Administration, JES2, z/OS Unix System Services (OMVS), and Storage Management Subsystem (SMS)
Required experience with TLS configuration (certificates, SSL, RSA Keys, SFTP, FTPS)
Preferred experience with REXX, performance monitoring, and Informatica Power Exchange Administration
Working knowledge of z/OS Operation, networking (VTAM, TCP/IP), automated job scheduling (JOBTRAC), terminal emulator software (BLUEZONE), VTAM Session Manager (VTAM/SWITCH), SMP/E, RMF, SMF, WLM, JCL, GRS, VSAM, TSO
Must have state client experience (preferably with the Texas Railroad Commission)
