Business Development Executive
Who Staffing is looking for a Business Development Executive for a fulltime, direct hire opportunity with a client headquartered in Baltimore, MD. The role involves developing new client relationships, executing sales strategies, and engaging with executives to communicate the client's value proposition in the Community Banking or Health and Human Services sectors.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a personal sales plan designed to achieve sales goals by developing profitable business
Source and qualify opportunities with companies currently not served by our client
Actively work networking contacts, industry groups and related Centers of Influence to grow new business referrals
Work with the industry leaders in a team selling environment to effectively identify and target key companies and design strategies to meet the needs of their prospective clients
Work with the marketing team to develop effective, targeted go-to-market plans and leverage client’s content and events for prospective clients and COI
Qualification
Required
5+ years of business development experience in a professional service, management consulting or IT services organization that sells to business-to-business clients
Sales experience and strong connections and relationships with C-Level business executives in mid-market organizations in the Community Banking or Health and Human Services verticals
Strong understanding of operations, trends, challenges, and strategies
Working knowledge of relationship selling principles, including the ability to conduct an effective sales meeting, ask effective questions, explore customer pain, communicate how our client's solutions can uniquely solve prospective customer pain, effectively close business, etc
While deep technical knowledge is not required, the successful candidate must have the ability to understand the business and technology challenges of our client's prospective customers, and be able to work with the operational team to recommend an engagement scope of work (SOW) to resolve those challenges
Proven organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong business writing skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
