Responsibilities

Serve as the SME for Mainframe Top Secret (TSS) Security Administration, ensuring data security and regulatory compliance
Perform advanced z/OS systems administration, including configuration, break/fix support, and user account management
Manage certificate renewals, TLS/SSL configurations, access control, and security auditing
Support routine system administration activities including security monitoring, performance monitoring, and system maintenance
Coordinate and support mainframe operations within a consolidated data center environment
Collaborate with Network Administration, Customer Support, and Application Development teams for daily operational support
Diagnose system and software issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend remediation
Provide end-user support for mainframe tools and ISV products (e.g., terminal emulation software)
Support Mainframe Production Control, scheduled jobs, and batch processing operations
Contribute expertise to mainframe modernization and transformation initiatives

Required

8+ years hands-on experience with Top Secret Security (TSS)
5+ years hands-on experience with z/OS Administration
5+ years experience with JES2, z/OS UNIX System Services (OMVS), and Storage Management Subsystem (SMS)
3+ years experience with TLS/SSL configuration, certificates, RSA keys, SFTP/FTPS
Strong experience supporting enterprise mainframe security, audits, and compliance initiatives

Preferred

Experience with REXX scripting
Performance monitoring and analysis experience
Experience with Informatica PowerExchange Administration (Change Data Capture using IMS/VSAM)
Working knowledge of z/OS Operations & Networking (VTAM, TCP/IP)
Automated job scheduling tools (e.g., JOBTRAC)
Terminal emulation software (e.g., BlueZone)
SMP/E, RMF, SMF, WLM
JCL, GRS, VSAM, TSO
