Responsibilities

Ensures Occupational Health & Safety performance through the development, implementation, management and collaboration of health and safety programs across US and international sites

Drives critical occupational health & safety programs such as Injury/Illness Reporting & Investigation, Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Control of Hazardous Energy, Chemical Handling & Storage, Biological Safety, Fire Prevention, Ergonomics, etc. to reduce risks and company costs

Exhibits a working knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations

Identifies, prioritizes, mitigates, and communicates health & safety compliance risks to the organization

Assess and improve safety performance sites assessments and driving continuous improvement by establishing performance targets, data analysis and reporting

Required

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field

Strong leadership and excellent in communication skills

Ability to travel as required (up to 10%, including overnight stays)

Preferred

Experience with ergonomics and industrial hygiene programs

Familiarity with global health and safety audits and compliance tools
