Pro AV Sales Solutions Specialist

Sharp Business Systems is a direct sales division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, seeking a Pro AV Sales Solutions Specialist to increase sales in their Business Systems division. The role involves meeting sales quotas, collaborating with sales teams, resolving customer issues, and leading strategic discussions related to AV solutions.

Responsibilities

Responsible for meeting established sales quota by selling Sharp technology solutions and services
Collaborates with sales reps to drive profitable business opportunities. Identifies prospects inside and outside the customer base of the company
Assist sales teams with data collection and needs assessment. Determine customer pain points as it relates to management of their AV environment, technology, and technology assets
Resolve customer issues through problem solving process; developing solutions; making recommendations
Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for growth. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviews professional publications; establishes professional relationships through networking and association membership
Lead strategic discussion relative to AV strategies, product demonstration, project assessment and validation, and assist our general sales force during the proposal and technical discovery phases of the sales cycle
Oversees the resource planning and management for implementation of the designed solution or service
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as prospect pipeline analysis and sales participation/contribution management

Required

Bachelor's degree or completion of relevant post-secondary technical and AV related training programs
2+ years' experience selling advanced AV solutions
Proficient in performing account analysis, financial modeling, and business forecasting experience
CTS Certification
Technology competent, understanding of MS Office applications
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Valid US driver's license and means to drive to multiple locations on a daily basis is required

Preferred

Strong understanding of display solutions, with creative vision relative to digital signage
Enterprise selling skills at senior levels
Solutions oriented, complex problem solving
Proficient in performing detailed business and account analysis
Solid interpersonal communication skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience creating and assisting in delivery of professional sales presentations
Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
Experience working with key decisions makers (senior level managers)
