Responsibilities
Own the architecture, implementation, and launch of a consumer facing FinTech iOS app
Build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that reflect complex financial data in a simple way
Set best practices for mobile engineering—code quality, testing, CI/CD, analytics, crash reporting
Collaborate closely with design to deliver polished, on-brand user experiences
Work across the stack when needed, and coordinate with backend engineers to define API needs
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience building and maintaining iOS applications in production
Experience building a 0 to 1 iOS application OR tenured experience working on consumer-facing applications known for high polish
Experience at an early-stage startup (Seed to Series B) OR Experience with B2B fintech or neo-bank companies (e.g., Mercury, Ramp, Rex)
Degree from a top-tier university (e.g., Waterloo, UC)
Fluency in Swift and modern iOS development frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI, Combine, UIKit)
Comfortable setting up mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Xcode Cloud, Fastlane, TestFlight)
Understanding of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and strong product sense
Enjoys designing architecture and making product tradeoffs in ambiguous settings
Has an eye for design and cares about delivering polished UX
