Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive financial planning sessions to understand each client’s goals, risk tolerance, and unique circumstances
Develop customized financial plans covering investment management, retirement planning, insurance strategies, debt optimization, and tax-efficient savings
Review plans regularly and make adjustments based on life changes or market conditions
Educate clients through clear, values-based conversations that promote confidence and long-term commitment to their plans
Recommend investment strategies aligned with client objectives and firm guidelines
Support portfolio construction and monitor performance in collaboration with the asset management team
Maintain current knowledge of financial markets, economic trends, and new investment products
Build and sustain long-term relationships based on trust, transparency, and results
Serve as a primary point of contact for ongoing client needs, coordinating with tax strategists and operations staff
Communicate proactively with clients to ensure they feel supported and informed
Work closely with internal teams to deliver a cohesive, cross-disciplinary wealth management experience
Participate in team trainings and process improvement initiatives
Stay current on industry regulations, best practices, and technology tools to enhance efficiency and client outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Active Series 65 License (required)
3 – 5 years of experience in financial planning or investment advisory services
Strong understanding of investment products, retirement accounts, insurance, and tax-aware planning
Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., RightCapital or similar), CRM systems, and Google Workspace
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse clients
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Commitment to ethical advisory practices and client-first fiduciary standards
