Business Development Sales Manager

Asylon, Inc. is a leading air and ground robotic perimeter security company, seeking a Business Development Sales Manager to drive enterprise sales of their robotic security managed services. The role involves generating pipeline, managing the full sales cycle, and collaborating with various teams to ensure a consultative sales experience for security leaders.

Responsibilities

Proactively generate new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, events, and strategic outreach
Own and develop a regional territory, with a primary focus on the Midwest, identifying and prioritizing high-value enterprise prospects
Supplement self-sourced pipeline with qualified meetings generated by BDRs, while maintaining personal accountability for pipeline coverage
Manage the full sales cycle from initial discovery through close, including multi-stakeholder enterprise opportunities
Conduct consultative discovery conversations with senior security leaders (CSOs, Directors of Security, Operations leaders)
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and solution presentations that clearly articulate Asylon’s value proposition and ROI
Build and maintain accurate forecasts and opportunity plans aligned to revenue targets
Partner closely with Marketing and BDRs to align messaging, target accounts, and campaign follow-up
Collaborate with Operations and Client Success to ensure smooth handoff, deployment planning, and customer onboarding
Coordinate with channel and value-added reseller (VAR) partners when applicable, while maintaining primary ownership of direct sales opportunities
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in HubSpot
Use data and pipeline metrics to manage deal progression and identify risks early
Provide regular feedback to leadership on market trends, buyer objections, competitive insights, and sales motion improvements

Required

3–5+ years of experience in SaaS or enterprise sales, business development, or account executive roles, preferably within security technology, physical security, robotics, SaaS, or related industries
Proven ability to generate pipeline and close complex, high-value deals within enterprise organizations
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to navigate long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision processes
Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
Willingness and ability to travel for customer meetings, demos, and industry events
Enterprise B2B sales or business development: 3 years (Required)
Willingness to travel: 25% (Required)

Preferred

Experience selling into security, operations, or risk-focused buying groups is strongly preferred
Bachelor's (Preferred)
