This role involves providing leadership and management for all aspects of technology across the campus, ensuring that resources and initiatives support the academic mission and operational needs of the school.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a strategic technology plan aligned with the school’s mission
Lead and mentor the technology team, fostering a culture of service, innovation, and collaboration
Oversee the school’s infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, and classroom systems, ensuring reliability and security; manage and support the audiovisual function
Work alongside your team and actively participate in daily operations
Establish and maintain cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance policies
Partner with academic leaders to evaluate and integrate instructional technologies that enhance teaching and learning
Plan and deliver technology education to all constituents of the school (employees, students, families) on effective technology use
Manage vendor relationships, asset lifecycles, and the technology department’s budget
Contribute as a member of the Administrative Team, helping guide school-wide initiatives and planning, as well as sit on and participate in various committees across the school
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
5–7 years of relevant technology leadership experience, ideally in an educational setting
Strong technical expertise in networking, unified communications, wireless, mobile, and cloud computing
Proven ability to supervise staff, manage budgets, and communicate technology strategies to non-technical audiences
A collaborative leadership style with a service-oriented mindset
Preferred
Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
Professional certifications (Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Aruba, or similar)
