Data Analytics Associate

AgileArc is seeking a Data Analytics Associate to support provider, payer, and life sciences customers, as well as contribute to internal research initiatives. The role involves providing advanced analytics support using software platforms and data assets across customer engagements, product development, and research projects.

Responsibilities

Interpret, analyze, and map claims, price transparency, and clinical data
Apply healthcare and health policy knowledge to develop analyses using SQL, SAS, R, Python, or internal tools
Shape customer‑facing reports using software environments and underlying data sources
Present findings to customers and address both tactical and strategic questions
Support customer satisfaction, NPS, and revenue goals through high‑quality delivery
Build strong, credible relationships with customers
Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare providers, payers, and/or life sciences to build trust with stakeholders
Serve as a liaison with data vendors, partners, and advisors
Become an expert in data lineage—where data originates, how it’s mapped, and how it powers analytics and products
Translate stakeholder needs into data and informatics requirements
Contribute to documentation and lead or participate in cross‑team knowledge‑sharing sessions

Required

Passion for improving healthcare
Experience in quantitative research, ideally in healthcare
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
2+ years of relevant experience (consulting, healthcare analytics/technology, SaaS, etc.)
Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and ability to distill insights
Expert SQL skills; R and Python preferred
Willingness to develop additional statistical programming skills (Python, SQL, SAS)
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail and quality
Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments
Strong relationship‑building and teamwork skills
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
Experience with clinical coding systems (ICD‑9/10, CPT, revenue codes, NPI, NDC, etc.)
Ability to craft actionable recommendations from disparate data sources

Preferred

1+ years of provider, payer, or life sciences experience (strongly preferred)
Graduate degree in public health, epidemiology, health policy, economics, or related fields preferred but not required
