Offender Information Specialist I
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking an Offender Information Specialist I for the Roederer Correctional Complex. This role involves maintaining inmate records, performing sentencing calculations, and ensuring compliance with regulations related to inmate information.

Responsibilities
Maintain electronic information and manual filing systems for all female inmates files, such as admissions, active inmates, parole, shock probation, serve-outs, and in-active
Respond to requests for information according to open records statutes
Review, implement, and process court order trips, calculate and compute inmate sentences, and coordinate placement and removal of detainers
Implement all functions associated with receiving and discharging inmates to and from the Department of Corrections
Communicate with courts, county and state agencies, public, inmates, and institutional staff regarding inmates’ official record
Interpret, adhere to, and enforce all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to inmate records
Qualification
Required
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
Administrative, legal, paralegal, law enforcement, or offender records work experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis
Current or prior military experience will substitute for the required college on a year-for-year basis
