Senior Director of Brokerage Sales
Global Edge Group is an international staffing firm known for connecting projects with talented professionals across various industries. They are seeking a Senior Director of Brokerage Sales to lead net-new shipper acquisition, manage sales processes, and drive revenue growth in the logistics and freight transportation sector.
Responsibilities
Lead net-new shipper acquisition across Client’s brokerage services
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and close
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and forecasting discipline
Develop and implement sales processes, structure, and strategy to support scalable growth
Hire, onboard, manage, and make performance-based termination decisions for sales personnel
Establish performance standards, accountability metrics, and coaching frameworks
Leverage existing shipper relationships compliantly, where applicable
Collaborate with operations and carrier sales teams to ensure profitable execution
Drive consistent performance across revenue, margin, and activity targets
Qualification
Required
5+ years of successful freight brokerage sales experience
Proven ability to win new customers and build a profitable book of business
Strong knowledge of OTR, LTL, expedited, and specialized freight solutions
Demonstrated strength in prospecting, negotiation, and value-based selling
Preferred
Existing shipper relationships developed compliantly
Experience with time-critical or high-touch freight solutions
Familiarity with CRM systems and modern sales tools
Experience in growth-stage or entrepreneurial brokerage environments
