Start in 2026 SummerCivil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will perform engineering tasks to develop their skills while supporting project teams on various industrial and manufacturing facility projects, including developing 3D design models and collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities
Perform engineering tasks that will help develop your engineering skillset while supporting our project teams on a variety of industrial and manufacturing facility projects
Developing 3D design models
Performing various tasks such as discipline calculations, specifications, sketches, and drawings
Work and coordinate with various disciplines including Electrical, Architectural, Civil, and Geotechnical
Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses
Learn from industry experts
Collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations
Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities
Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges
Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in an electrical engineering undergraduate program
Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred
AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred
Prior internship and/or related experience preferred
Local candidates preferred
