Responsibilities

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD models , and design documents to ensure dimensional accuracy
Design and evaluate fixtures that integrate seamlessly with robots, conveyors, and manufacturing equipment
Ensure fixture designs support process flow, ergonomics, and operator efficiency without bottlenecks
Apply and validate Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements throughout production
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to minimize variation and ensure final assembly quality
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and engineering teams on feasibility and manufacturability
Recommend and drive design and process improvement initiatives
Provide dimensional engineering support to maintain high production and quality standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, STEM, or equivalent relevant experience
5+ years of experience in dimensional engineering within manufacturing or production environments
Strong, hands-on expertise in GD&T standards and application
Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar)
Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with advanced metrology tools and measurement techniques
Familiarity with SPC and quality management systems
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional and vendor collaboration

Preferred

Preferred certifications: CQE, Six Sigma, or other dimensional/quality certifications
