They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their private equity operations team, responsible for maintaining and reviewing investment funds' records and preparing reports for investors and management.

Responsibilities

Book and review journal entries

Reconcile, review, and manage cash balances

Prepare and review quarterly financial statements, investor capital account statements, and supporting workpapers

Prepare and send capital call and distribution notices to investors

Deliver investor communications via our online investor portal

Own processes beginning to end and manage every aspect of your assigned Funds’ operations

Assist with the annual audit by providing supporting documents to our external auditors

Compile and analyze data to be presented to senior management

Ad hoc projects assigned by supervisor

Qualification

Private equity accountingCPA certificationBachelor’s degree in accountingPublic accounting experienceCommunication skillsAttention to detailTeamworkSelf-starter

Required

A Bachelor's degree in accounting

0+ GPA

2+ years experience in private equity accounting, with public accounting experience a plus

Passed the CPA exam or are actively pursuing

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work well independently and within a team atmosphere

Ability to operate effectively with limited supervision and are a self-starter
