Development, analysis, integration, and testing of complex hardware for an aviation system
Coding in C language for a operating system that is similar to a Linux environment
Validation of high- and low-level requirements
Decomposition of requirements
Digitization of analogs

Required

Must be committed to working a W2 long term contract
Ability to work onsite (office + lab environment) in Grand Rapids, MI
Bachelor's degree or higher required (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
5 years' experience in embedded systems software engineering: development, scripting, verification, validation and hardware/software integration
Strong system software test & verification experience - experience writing test cases in Python
Strong scripting and/or C/C++ Language coding for an embedded system
Experience with interfaces and digital protocols
Comfortable with V&V tasks of systems and software, traceability requirements, test procedures, writing documentation, etc
Experience with decomposition of high-level requirements, and ability to translate customer requirements into effective software

Preferred

Experience with aviation protocols is highly preferred
Experience in the Avionics or Aerospace Industry highly desired (but can be trained in industry specific protocols)
