Environmental Planner 2
HDR is a company focused on creating a welcoming environment and driving meaningful changes in the waste industry. As an Environmental Planner 2, you will collaborate with clients and communities to design sustainable solutions and conduct environmental assessments.

Responsibilities
Collect project-related data, which may include research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, field investigations for wetlands, and land use
Prepare constraints mapping
Conduct environmental impact assessments
Assist in preparation for and participation in public information meetings and hearings
Prepare, plan and analyze/review technical studies, permit applications, NEPA documents, and similar reports/documents
Assist public and private clients with permit coordination, acquisition and compliance for wetland impacts, bridge construction, and threatened/endangered species
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field
A minimum of 5 years environmental experience
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
AICP certification
