Manufacturing Process Engineer — Investment Casting (Wax)
Princeton Precision Group is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer specializing in Investment Casting in Tampa, FL. The role involves analyzing and optimizing wax processes, implementing control strategies, and training staff to enhance efficiency and quality in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
Analyze current wax processes to uncover efficiency gains and quality improvements
Design and implement process control strategies that boost yield and cut waste
Partner across injection, assembly, and engineering to optimize workflows
Plan experiments, crunch data, and validate process changes before scaling
Document everything — reports, SOPs, and control plans that make improvements stick
Train and support injection and assembly staff on new processes and equipment
Lead the die maintenance program, and perform die maintenance as needed
Ensure wax injection equipment performance and output meet specifications
Be the on-shift problem-solver for operational issues as they arise
Continuously scan industry best practices to fuel innovation in the facility
Qualification
Required
BS in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years in process engineering within manufacturing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail obsessed
Fluency with process simulation and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
lost-wax/investment casting experience
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma is a plus
ISO 9001, AS9100 Experience
NADCAP familiarity
