Responsibilities

Lead efforts to scale our systems to meet the demands of our most advanced customers

Own critical technical decisions around data ingestion and querying

Balance short-term deliverables with long-term architectural evolution

Partner closely with product, revenue, and engineering teams across W&B to shape the future of our platform

Ensure that customers can rely on our infrastructure for training insights and large-scale analytics

Mentor engineers

Contribute to the overall growth and strength of the team

Required

4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data platforms and/or distributed systems

Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, etc.)

Experience designing and scaling customer-facing APIs in production, ideally leveraging systems such as MySQL, Postgres, Clickhouse, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, or Kafka

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
