Responsibilities
Plan, direct and coordinate the operational accounting and disbursements functions to support the monthly close process for an international company (countries include Sweden and the UK with the possibility to expand to other European focused countries)
Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results including:
Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
Reviewing month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
Oversee financial regulatory reporting including tax planning and compliance
Qualification
Required
15 years of related experience required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration or related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
Knowledge of maintaining financial databases and implementing accounting systems required
Knowledge of economic principles, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
Excellent attention to detail, strong organization skills, and time management
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
Onsite in the NYC office 2 days/week minimum
Preferred
CPA highly preferred
Experience with Netsuite and Quickbooks preferred
